How to Delete Flickr Auto Upload on Computer

SusieM54: Pretty sure when you installed the app it asked if you wanted car-upload on. I just updated the app and so it honored my previous settings and stayed off. It should be in the app's settings to turn it off or on.

I turned motorcar-upload off, but would consider turning it back on if the photos all went into a single album and were marked private. And upload just happened when I was on wifi, not cellular. So basically like Google Photos except with metadata and social.

I still can't find an answer to this Eric, other than to manually delete the albums (which for me volition take ages). I'm nevertheless finding that some new folders sideslip away to the bottom of the list. Information technology really is driving me crazy, I was using Flickr to share my caste piece of work with my tutor and at the moment this is but impossible because of the 35 pages of albums that I have to sift through to get to what I demand. The Flickr UPloadr does not take your content from an entirely unlike site, it uploads photos to your Flickr which reside on your difficult drive.

Possibly You take downloaded stuff from Picasa to your hard drive and set permission for the Uploadr to upload them to Flickr.

I could be wrong, simply as I recall Picasa has both spider web and optional client components. The Uploadr might have found patrick.vickers1'due south Picasa folder on his PC and uploaded everything to Film automatically.

However, deleting the Picasa pics from Flickr should have no issue on the Picasa folders on his PC.

The Auto Upload album disappears as soon as all the photos take been deleted or otherwise removed from the album. I just did it myself 30 seconds agone.

Note you don't have to delete the photos; you lot can motion them into other albums and then remove them from Machine Uploads. When you endeavour to transfer the last photo from Auto Uploads, Flickr gives you a warning that the album will be deleted if you lot continue.

It will magically reappear the side by side fourth dimension one or more than photos are machine-uploaded to Flickr.

Just you see the Auto Upload album.

I just went through and manually deleted my photos from the Auto Upload Album and the Album did disappear :) It even gave me the heads up before I deleted the last photo saying information technology volition "Delete the Album" now that you are removing the terminal photo. So happy!
